Stocktake: Need for action on fossil fuel subsidy reform & shifting of other public financial flows
Shifting financial flows from fossil to clean energy is critical for Paris targets. But stocktaking shows little success to date. In particular, fossil fuel subsidies skyrocketed in 2022. This event will call for renewed momentum & propose specific actions for reform despite turbulent energy prices.
